Volunteering at Good Shepherd Episcopal School
Volunteers make a major difference in the lives of our students. We appreciate your support and hope that you will consider volunteering in our school. During the 2015-16 school year, we logged more that 4,500 volunteer hours from parents, relatives and community members!
Volunteering is a very rewarding experience. Our students and faculty appreciate everything our volunteers do to help us reach our goal of academic success for all children. We can’t do it without you!
Children LOVE mystery readers, and it’s a surprise! Sign up, but don’t tell your child. You can read to your child’s class for the first 10-15 minutes of your child’s scheduled library time. The children love having mystery readers. You are an automatic super hero! No special skills required. Come read as you are, or dress up for fun. The kids love mystery readers either way! If you’ve read your child a bed-time story, you will have fun participating in the mystery reader program! You can choose a couple of your children’s favorite books, or ask Mrs. Dysart to pick some out for you. Feel free to contact Mrs. Dysart with questions. Special friends, relatives, and nannies make great mystery readers as well!
